This is the best engineering/scientific calculator you can buy. I have had the real one since the early 80s and use both all the time. Learn how to program this calculator and unleash its power.

I still have mine on my desk, but having it on my iPhone is nice. ;)
the only option i would like to see is a "Bold" function for the read out. I love that it saves/keeps where you left off after you exit the app. (If the other free had this, i would have stayed with it)
Love my 15 C. This is a great app brings back the old calculator in all its splendor!
I really love this one. Also like the RPN, faster and with less key strokes. Excellent clone of the HP15C.
Next to the real thing, this app is awesome. The only thing missing is the feel of the button click.
Discovering the HP15 ap. something from my high school years that I will never grow out of. I never take my original out of my office for fear of losing it but now I can have it wherever I go.
This is my go-to calculator since it was what I used on my college days.
Love the app, works great!
Great calculator, I love it. I wish it had the metric conversion.
I have loved this app for a long time, but recently realized trig functions such as sin, cos, tan sometimes give the wrong answer! Too bad ...
I have an hp 11c and this is basically the same although without the tactile buttons. But it does have integral and zero solving which is great for my physics class!
Just like the 15C I had more than 30 years ago: easy to use, full function, well-thought out, nostalgic.
This past March 18, a reviewer said he’d found the trig functions to give wrong results sometimes. Before concluding that, I would check the manual, specifically page 121. (The HP15cs manual — along with the HP10’s, 11’s, and 12’s -- can be found within the app, via the Menu key at lower left.) Id had a similar experience with the trig functions, finding that the calculator seemed to be stuck in Radians mode even though I’d specified Degrees mode. (This definitely would give you unexpected results!) HOWEVER, that turns out to be a feature and not a bug. WHEN THE CALCULATOR IS IN COMPLEX-NUMBER MODE, the calculator is SUPPOSED to treat angles as radians for all trig functions. (Except for the conversions between Rectangular and Polar — for how those work in Complex mode — which is not how they usually work -- see pp 133-135.) Complex-number mode is indicated by a capital C annunciator in the lower right area of the screen. To turn it off, clear Flag 8. (That is, key in “CF 8,” where CF is the blue function of the 5 key.)
Great app and really works like the real 15c EXCEPT I really wish the display script bore some resemblance to the real 15c. Too small, cramped and not slanted right. The real 15c used the entire width of the display. Here, even in Fix 9 mode, less than half the screen is used. That said, all else is great!!!
Nice accurate version of my favourite university calculator, but biggest complaint is the number display is very small on the eyes. All other hp app vendors seem to have got this right except for this ONE. What were they thinking? The iPhone 5S screen is not big to begin with.
Old habits die hard. Nice to use the RPN logic of the HP 15C; the calculator that I used in high school and college. I havent used all the advanced functions but is perfect for my daily use.
I have been using HP Calculators for over 40 years. The HP15C APP. works flawlessly and is one of my most used apps. It is great to know that as long as I have my iPhone I always have my HP15C. I use it on my 6 Plus and I still use it on my iPhone 4. It is a great app.
Ive used my 15c since 1985, this app is as close as Ive seen! I love it.
Love this app. Two for one is the best. I recommend this for all professionals.
